Absolutely loved every bit of our time at Dante. Was traveling in NYC for 2 weeks over Xmas and came here 2 times. Would have tried to come back again but found out about it too late on our holiday. Will definitely visit every time in NYC. Cocktails are on point. If you like your negroni I can suggest getting the $65 .... worth every $$. Pasta was perfection... happy customer all the way from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺

We had lunch at outside dine-in, orderedHousemade Foccacia with ricotta, mortadella & salsa di pepperoncinoFreshly Baked Baguettes with proscuitto cotto, asiago & romaine OR tomato, mozzarella, olives & basilThey came as pre-packed sandwich. They should be only for take-out. Extremely disappointed.

Found this place on yelp looking for a good place to celebrate 6 years of marriage and was extremely impressed and grateful for everything about this lounge. From the ambience to the personalized experience. It was AMAZING!

We have been here a few times for drinks late night but going on Thanksgiving was our first time to dine here. First off the late night drinking scene here is definitely busy but worth it. Delicious cocktails. I was surprised to read other reviewers on tripadvisor mention that they didn't have good service. We've always had great service even when they are extremely busy on late night weekends. They take reservations via the Resy app so you can always plan ahead and avoid a long wait that way.

Booked a table online - so glad we did as it was packed! We got seated fairly quickly, the space is pretty tight so you’ll be very close to the other tables and waiters will be tightly squeezed to reach you too. Nonetheless we were here for the famous negroni hour and they did not disappoint. Great variety and value, and very delicious. We also got some pasta dishes for dinner - a touch too salty but were both good. Would recommend coming here when not so busy, but given it was voted best bar in the world I doubt it will get less busy!

Just came for cocktails on a Sunday afternoon with my friends. The drinks were really fantastic and our bartender was very friendly. It was a bit noisy and cramped, but overall had a great time.

Fantastic bar and restaurant, the food and cocktails were amazing. The mains in particular. The service was excellent and it had such a nice buzz to it.

Went to Dante NYC for Sunday brunch on a recommendation and had a great experience. It's a good idea to make reservations, because this place filled up fast. Great food, great coffee and a really unique cocktail offering. Next time I'm in the village I'd love to go back and sit at the bar. The restaurant had a European atmosphere and a very attentive staff. Not sure if it's a regular occurrence, but on the day I was there the Specials included a handmade pasta dish, it was simply prepared, but excellent in every way.

This has been one of my go to neighborhood bars and I’m so happy they are still open and operating during this time. You scan a barcode to see the menu so there is limited touching. Drinks are delicious as always and the staff very accommodating. So fun getting to go drinks as well. Greatly appreciate the extra precarious being followed so thoroughly to keep customers and the staff safe.

Absolutely adore this little restaurant! I love coming here for a casual dinner or negroni's when the bar allows for it. The bar gets extremely busy so plan on going early if you want to get in.

Historical place with beautiful cocktails and amazing food. Love the atmosphere there, old school interior and cozy patio. The personnel are always friendly and highly professional. I’m ready to go there every time I visit the New York City.

Can't be happier about my visit here (dine in dinner service outdoors). The service was EXCELLENT, the Negroni is killer, and the food is the perfect pairing. Great vibes and atmosphere as well. Will plan on returning.

I'm impressed. I would give them six stars if I could.We stopped by on a Friday afternoon. There was live music playing and very few open seats. Luckily we found a place at the bar. The drinks were heavenly, strong and full of flavor. Everything we ordered was made to perfection. The staff was attentive and very nice. Ashley made great suggestions for us. I am certainly coming back when I'm in the city.

Came last Friday to celebrate a birthday,they did a special shout out for all the birthday people had a great time, my friends and I enjoyed the Burlesque show and after that DJ turned up and played the best old-school and new school music. Will definitely come back! Make sure to reserve your spot on time

When I first learned about the place on the 50 Best Bar in the World list, I thought it’s going to be packed with people all the time and staffed with pride employees, who snub on their customers. However, the visit turned out to be one of the most relaxing and enjoyable dining and drinking experiences I had in Big Apple. I went there on Friday morning, and the place was not busy. I got a bar seat since I was alone and ordered my breakfast plus some of their signature cocktails. The bartender was great in conversation and the staffs made me feel relax throughout the time I was there. The food come in small portion and yes, it’s not economical, but with its cocktails, ambient and service, I think I will definitely recommend it to people who’s visiting NYC. By the way, the bar’s ranking has edged up since I visited, it is the top bar in the world on the list.

Great experience, went two times, evening for drink and morning for a breakfast. Negroni on tap is excellent, very polite & well informed staff. Tasty food at generous amounts. Cozy place , little pricey but its amongst the best bars in the world

This place lives up to the hype. Long list of cocktails, many Negroni's when I went, excellent atmosphere and service. The home pasta was very good. It is tiny, reservation is a must.

Super cute little cafe/restaurant/bar that also does to-go coffee. Their coasters are SUPER cute and everyone was friendly. I liked the hot chocolate (not to die for), but would go back for the vibe. My friends loved their coffees.

Upscale food, service, and environment in a cozy, almost rustic/modern setting. Me and my friends went to breakfast and even a simple croissant was elegant and perfectly made. Staff are friendly and attentive, food is top notch and beautifully presented. Price is higher than most places, however that's the city - but all in all every cent was worth it.

There’s a reason that this place has garnered its popularity and recognition. It takes you back to old New York with the yummy although strong cocktails that use ingredients often ever heard of! They also have a great jazz trio to play live music that adds to the old world atmosphere. The only one draw back is that it gets crowded and busy and as friendly as the staff are, they sometime forget your drink order and hard to find when you need them. Still worth the experience.

What a great experience at this intimate cafe, located in Greenwich Village. A bustling place on weekends... The drink menu is amazing & above all it's the perfection in how the drink is made... Look for Eloy. Would like to thank you for the great great drinks... Will look forward to visit soon...

One of my favorite places to visit in NY. Must make a reservation to be seated. So if you plan on coming, do so. Great cocktails and beer selection. Also the food was great. And great customer service

A really brilliant night out, although not cheap in the slightest! The staff are great, offering insightful advice on what cocktails to choose, and the flavour profiles of the different drinks, which are varied and very original. Clearly sell prepared and very careful out together, they range from classical and simple to ultra-modern and complex. Really worth a visit, but be aware that it is very very popular and you may not get a seat or a table, as it is really busy. The food looks good, although we didn't eat - a lot of people visit for the food. They have another restaurant next door which they own and direct people to when they're busy.

The food here is amazing and so is the vibe. However be prepared to wait a while to get your drinks. The drinks are great but ever since this place was granted the title of best bar, it’s not uncommon to wait up to 20 minutes to get your beverage.

Could not have been a better experience. They sat me (solo) even though they were packed and could only give me the seat for an hour. Food was excellent. Excellent classic cocktails. A+

Always a solid cocktail and food experience. If you're looking for that margarita that won't make you feel as guilty. This is probably it. But get the girabaldi obviously.

A sanctuary for Italian aperitivo. Considered one of the best US bar aperitif. Find there best bartenders visiting from allover and lots of people from the spirits industry. Start with a simple and perfect V&T ( vermouth and Tonic made with Cocchi Torino amaro).see photo.

Great ambiance. Small intimate cafe. The menus small as are the portions. The menu seems to offer selections the are vegan to vegetarian with a dash of meat. Great bar. Date night kind of place?

If you want to meet a place for great drinks in NYC, Dante is the place you go. According to 50 best bars, this is the #1 in the world and it did not disappoint one bit. The variety of drinks it's very extensive, from classic but upgraded to new and exciting ones. The Negroni Drink is their signature but they have other treasures to be found. The ones I tried were: Spicy Fresca (The perfect combination between mezcal en tequila, very fresh with a little spicy twist at the end) Espresso Martini (Intense but sweet, great to start a drinking evening) It's I place that I'm definitely planning to go back again and again.

This restaurant was wonderful but the service was even better! We were served by Melissa, and she was quite literally a ray of sunshine. So attentive and so so kind to everyone who walked in. We will be back for sure!

This is a great place i am in love with. The interior design is incredibly cool. I would recommend all my friends to vidit this place.

Window service only. A Greenwich Village historical staple. Fresh Italian dishes and desserts. A little pricey.

We went to this place since it was #1 in top 50 bars in the world. And I can see why. The 2 drinks I had where amazing and the food was good too. Since the drinks where perfect. (We visited also the other bars in this Top50 list and I got the same drink and this was definitely the best). This bar specialty is Negroni so if your into it you should definitely go!

Fabulous cocktails and great food. Always impeccable service. Worth a reservation for a meal, and equally good to sit at the bar for drink and bites.
